Minoxidil

The minoxidil solution, which is available in concentrations of 7% and 12%, is indicated for the treatment and prevention of androgenic hair loss.

Minoxidil is an active substance that stimulates hair growth, since it increases the caliber of blood vessels, improving blood circulation in the area and prolonging the anagen phase, which is the birth and growth of hair.

Also, in some situations and if recommended by the doctor, minoxidil solution can also be used to thicken and fill in flaws in the eyebrows and beard.

Finasterida

Finasteride is a chemical substance of synthetic origin that specifically inhibits the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase Type II and in this way decreases the amount of dihydrotestosterone in the body that is formed from testosterone and that is responsible for androgenic alopecia.

Finasteride is the first drug of its kind to be prescribed orally. The efficacy and tolerability profile of this drug has been proven through multiple clinical studies following rigorous controls and over long periods, up to 5 years in duration.

Dutasterida

Dutasteride is a drug that acts as an inhibitor of the 5 alpha reductase enzyme and favors the thickening of the follicular units, helping to stop hair loss.

The use of dutasteride on hair should always be indicated by a surgeon specialized in hair treatments. This is the most appropriate professional to assess the condition, origin and causes of hair loss and guide an effective treatment for alopecia.
